SIBELIUS 150 TRIO (Finland)
Celebrating the 150th birthday of composer Jean Sibelius (1865-1957), the Finnish piano/violin/cello 'Sibelius 150 Trio', tours in Australia.
Jean Sibelius's music inspired the painting, sculpture and the
literature of his creative contemporaries, and ushered in a golden age
of music and art appreciation that would awaken and endow the Finns with
a sense of pride in their heritage and encourage their hopes for the
possibilities of nationhood.

The 'Sibelius 150 Trio', comprising Tuomas Lehto - cello, Siljamari Heikinheimo - violin, Roope Grondahl - piano, celebrates the musical legacy Finland's foremost national composer Jean Sibelius.
